Dzogchen Master Namkhai Norbu’s text guides us in a direct and essential way in understanding the principle of presence. The purpose of those who undertake the path of Atiyoga Dzogchen is not resolved only in the search for profound meditative experiences, but consists above all in the development of the ability to live daily life with awareness, maintaining the stability of presence at all times, as an essential condition for leading a serene and harmonious existence.

The Author of “Starting the Evolution” Atiyoga Dzogchen Master Namkhai Norbu (1938-2018)

Born in East Tibet, he was invited to Italy in 1960 where, until 1992, he taught Tibetan language and literature at the University of Naples L’Orientale. In the 70’s he began to teach Yantra Yoga and subsequently the true knowledge of Dzogchen, or Atiyoga, to a growing number of students all over the world. It was with this first group of students that the Dzogchen Community began.

The quintessential purpose of his teachings is to discover our limitations and to overcome them by relaxing in our real condition

The Lecturer: Fabio Maria Risolo

Graduated in literature and philosophy, he has taught in various Italian universities. He has been following the Dzogchen Teaching of the Tibetan Master Namkhai Norbu since 1999. He holds seminars and courses in Italy and in numerous European countries of meditation, inherent to the Buddhist tradition and to Dzogchen or Atiyoga. He edited the three-volume publications of the Dzogchen Master Namkhai Norbu: Guruyoga, Shine and Lhagthong in the Dzogchen Teaching and A Small Glossary for the Dzogchen Community.
